 h Week, Aug 27 - Sep 4, a celebration of three centuries of the rich W
 elsh history in Philadelphia, including music, film, seminars, books, 
 genealogy, language, and history. The Welsh are world-famous for their
  singing and two concerts of Welsh music will take place at The Kimmel
  Center for the Performing Arts - a traditional male voice choir and 
 a concert of contemporary Welsh music. The Doubletree Hotel will host 
 screenings, seminars, theatre, a Penderyn Welsh Whisky Masterclass, a
 nd an opportunity to buy Welsh crafts and enjoy delicious Welsh cakes 
 and tea. Wales salutes Ukraine at a free screening of the biographical
  thriller movie Mr. Jones at the Philadelphia Film Center while histor
 y meets family fun at Fort Mifflin Welsh Tract Day. Several bars and r
 estaurants in Philadelphia will serve Welsh dishes and cocktails durin
 g the week and Barnes and Noble will feature a display of Welsh books.
  The festival closes with Welsh hymn-singing at its finest at the Chur
 ch of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr. A full list of events and activities
