SUMMARY:Philadelphia's Magic Gardens presents Tour and Talk with Steph
 en Wright
DESCRIPTION:Visit Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and enjoy a talk by S
tephen Wright, a mixed-media artist and art environment creator based
in London. Since 1998, Wright has been turning his home into an immers
ive work of art by embellishing its walls with thousands of personal i
tems and repurposed objects found at flea markets. In “Walking Round
My Head,” Wright showcases portrait drawings, masks, tapestries, an
d textile figures that tell the stories of his daily life. Using beads
, dyed fabric, jewels, bold lines, and even bolder statements, Wright
gives us a look into his inner thoughts.\nJoin Wright for an intimate
look at “Walking Round my Head” and learn more about his inspirati
ons, methods, and his life story. The tour will be followed by a Q&A a
nd copies of Wright’s “House of Dreams” book will also be availa
ble for purchase.\n\nFor more information visit http://phillytodo.com/
