 th Shiya for the 7 weeks.\n\nYoga in Action is OTM’s grassroots move
 ment that brings the Off the Mat experience to your local area. These 
 7-week groups are an opportunity to build community around yoga and se
 rvice, develop relationships with other yogis and activists in your ar
 ea and collaborate on creating real change.\n\nYoga in Action small gr
 oups allow participants to embark on a journey of self-inquiry with th
 e support of a small group of peers that leads to action within our co
 mmunity and outside world. OTM’s vision is to seed these small group
 s of change in communities to inspire collaboration and connection amo
 ng our community of yoga activists.\n\nOff the Mat, Into the World® (
 OTM), a program of the nonprofit, The Engage Network, is dedicated to 
 bridging yoga and activism. Founded in 2007, OTM’s mission is to use
  the power of yoga to inspire conscious, sustainable activism and igni
 te grassroots social change.\n\nWe will work on grounding and understa
 nding what conscious activism is; on self-inquiry, learning what skill
 s we already have that we can call upon as activists; on finding our p
 assion, diving deeper into what and where we want to put our efforts; 
 on our interconnectedness, how to cope with stress, how to give and re
 ceive support; on how to become an effective activist; on beginning to
  take action. As a group you will begin to develop a seva project.\n\n
