DESCRIPTION:Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture and PNC Arts Alive are pleased 
 to invite you to a vibrant musical evening in the outdoor courtyard of
  Oxford Mills. Western Classical and Arab music will be intertwined fo
 r a cross-genre collaboration with Prometheus Chamber Orchestra, reint
 erpreting works by Vivaldi, Mohammad Abdel Wahab, Raphael Hernandez, a
 nd Chick Corea. \n\nAl-Bustan Takht Ensemble and Prometheus Chamber O
 rchestra perform this repertoire in three Philadelphia neighborhoods: 
 June 4 in Kensington at Oxford Mills, June 17 in North Philly at Churc
 h of the Advocate, the concert was previously presented at USG-Unitari
 an Society of Germantown on May 7. \n\nPrior to each concert (4-5:30p
 m), audiences are invited to bring their own drum (#BYOD) and particip
 ate in a workshop led by Master Percussionist/Takht member Hafez Kotai
 n. Please note that we will have some drums available for participants
  to play. Additionally, a portion of the concert will feature audience
