DESCRIPTION:This much-anticipated event is not only a fabulous social 
 happening but also a showcase for exceptional contemporary art featuri
 ng work from the emerging to the established. Most importantly of cour
 se, this benefit event is the major annual fundraiser for InLiquid, wh
 ich supports and promotes visual artists while serving as a comprehens
 ive hub and catalyst for our region’s arts community.\nThe Benefit r
 eturns to the Icebox Project Space at Crane Arts, where the first floo
 r space will be transformed into a three-day only showcase of 250+ wor
 ks by emerging and established artists.\nThe theme for the weekend is 
 Press Bid to Play, celebrating InLiquid’s third year of revolutioniz
 ing the local art auction sphere through a virtual transformation, in 
 which guests will reboot their collections and experience a crash-cour
 se in visual mediums. Painting, photography, fashion, furniture, and m
 ore will be available via mobile bidding platform 501 Auctions, where 
 works at every price point are just a smartphone click away. Throughou
 t the evening, tablet-wielding concierges will be on-hand to assist th
 e audience with their purchasing questions.\nThe Main Night: Saturday,
  February 6\nVIP\n4:30 – 6 pm Saturday night, February 6 kicks the e
 xperience into high gear with a VIP preview from 4:30 – 6 pm, offeri
 ng a more intimate and formal occasion to preview the art and items on
  display. The immersive, interactive art collecting experience overtak
 es three rooms, including The Love Lounge designed by Bryan Hoffman De
 sign and accented with Mid-Century Furniture Warehouse, which opens th
 e nightsky up to an urban oasis. The VIP ticket price is $85 in advanc
 e, $100 at the door and includes a special performance by Laurent Bass
 .\nGeneral Admission\n6 – 10 pm The Main Event opens the bidding roo
 ms up to the general public 6 – 10 pm. Participants will be ushered 
 into the Grey Area, where catered selections circulate in three stages
  over the course of the event and an array of gift certificates from l
 ocal boutiques and restaurants will beckon attendees onward into the t
 hrill of the hunt. Bidding wars will heat up in the Icebox Project Spa
 ce, approximately 4,500 square feet of labyrinthine two-and-three dime
 nsional art displays, with furniture provided by Mid-Century Furniture
  Warehouse.\nVie for work by artists at all levels – from local to i
 nternational – including Shepard Fairey, Jacque Liu, Jon Manteau, an
 d Diane Burko, just to name a few. Lori Zimmer – Art Nerd New York b
 logger and author of The Art of Cardboard – guest-curates a selectio
 n of work from NYC, recoding the other east coast city for Philadelphi
 a audiences. Recharge with Tito’s Handmade cocktails or Philadelphia
  Brewing Company’s cider and beer at the open bar, along with tasty 
 hors d’oeuvres from Birchtree Catering. The Main Event ticket price 
 is $50 in advance, $65 at the door and includes a live ice carving dem
