 tu, Brute?\nIn honor of that fateful day in 44 BC when Julius Ceasar w
 as stabbed to death, we will taste wines from countries within the geo
 graphical extent of the    Roman Republic - those areas under Roman
  control at the time of Ceasar's death.  These include the modern pla
 ce-names of Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, M
 acedonia, Slovenia, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Palestine, and Jordan, as 
 well as the entire Mediterranean coast of North Africa. A wine-produci
 ng republic, indeed!\nAncient Romans would celebrate the god of War an
 d Agriculture, Mars, on the the Ides of March.  We shall do the same 
 by celebrating the viticulture (lets skip the warfare) of that vast an
 d fertile Republic.\nOkay, technically speaking the Ides of March were
  on the 15th in the Roman calendar (13th for some other months), but w
