 season, Fairmount Park’s largest historic house. This year, the Gard
 en Club of Philadelphia and Vicinity and The Porch Club of Riverton wi
 ll decorate Historic Strawberry Mansion with the theme of “A Very St
 oried Christmas,” saluting the long history of the Free Library of P
 hiladelphia and its 130 years of promoting literacy for all Philadelph
 ia citizens.  Each room will depict a scene from a beloved Christmas 
 story, including The Nutcracker and The Night Before Christmas.  Tour
 s are available throughout the season, giving visitors an opportunity 
 to view the mansion’s beautiful decor, as well as an impressive coll
 ection of dolls and vintage toys dating back to the 18th century.\n\nT
 ours available Wednesdays - Sundays 10AM-4pm.  The mansion is closed
