In this exhibition , the resident Fellows present work created during the residency, whic h emphasizes research, exploration, and the opportunity to work in a c ollaborative environment. Now in its 27th year, the renowned WARP Wood residency offers artists specializing in the material of wood the opp ortunity to test their vision and skill while developing connections w ith colleagues, collectors, the Museum, and the wider city of Philadel phia. Nearly all of the nine fellows in the 2024 cohort applied for th e residency in 2019. In the intervening five years, development and di vergence have left them in the precise position of now, which is both undeniably correct and undeniably by chance. The works in Fruition are based on seeds of ideas planted over a stretch of time that have enri ched outcomes and, at times, reshaped the artists’ ways of making.\n \nFor more information visit http://phillytodo.com/events/hands-on-cla y-at-toddlerpalooza-1 DTSTART:20240806T160000Z DTEND:20241020T210000Z CATEGORIES:workshop LOCATION:Museum for Art in Wood WEBSITE:https://museumforartinwood.org/exhibition/fruition-the-windgat e-arts-residency-program-in-wood-2024/ URL:https://museumforartinwood.org/exhibition/fruition-the-windgate-ar ts-residency-program-in-wood-2024/ CONTACT:215-923-8000 ORGANIZER;CN="En Route Marketing":http://phillytodo.com/profile/EnRout eMarketing ATTACH;FMTTYPE="image/jpeg":https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0 /file/get/12764214895?profile=original ATTENDEE;ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;PARTSTAT=ACCEPTED;RSVP=TRUE;CN="En Route Marketing":http://phillytodo.com/profile/EnRouteMarketing END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
