 copolitan Mushroom Company come to Greensgrow to talk mushrooms! The w
 orkshop will focus on the skills, thought processes, and materials nec
 essary to start growing delicious mushrooms at home. They will introdu
 ce you to the important roles of Fungi in nature and discuss mushroom 
 medicine too.\nEveryone will receive an oyster mushroom grow bag to st
 art growing at home. The kit features a local oyster mushroom strain g
 rown on straw and rye.  Properly maintained, the kit will yield up to
  a pound of delicious oyster mushrooms over the course of a month. All
  you’ll need to do is provide a humid microclimate for your kit and 
 spritz with mist most days and you can expect your first harvest withi
 n 10 days.\nTyler and Brian own and operate Mycopolitan Mushroom Compa
 ny, a.k.a. Philly’s mushroom farm!  They mainly grow Trumpet, Namek
 o, Pom Pom and Shiitake mushrooms in their North Philly subterranean f
 arm, supplying many of the most-acclaimed, farm-to-table restaurants i
 n the area as well as home cooks who enjoy the perks of membership in 
 Mycopolitan’s CSA-style Farm Share.  Mycopolitan has been featured 
 in Vice-Munchies, Edible Philly, Grid and more, and is a always excite
