 sts an art exhibition, 'From Rio to Brotherly Love' featuring works fr
 om Brazilian-born artist Daniel Gafanhoto. A fine-art photographer who
  works digitally, Gafanhoto photographs and processes cityscapes in a 
 very personal way, as a demonstration of the places he has lived and v
 isited. He believes that a place can show a lot about a person, someti
 mes even more than a portrait, and feels that the ways cities influenc
 e people are more striking than an individual character alone.\nIn con
 junction with the 53rd Global Gala and the on-going celebration of Bra
 zil, the exhibit runs April through June 2014 in the East Alcove of th
 e Main Level. The exhibit is free and open to the public during buildi
