 h a select group of local artisans, and much more!  This season, expe
 rience the magic of the holiday and celebrate traditions new and old a
 t the Franklin Square Holiday Festival. From November 13 – December
  31, dazzle in the lights of the Electrical Spectacle: A Holiday Ligh
 t Show, shop for handmade, artisanal gifts at the Holiday Market, and 
 warm up with comfort food, local beers, and hot beverages in Ben’s B
 ites & Brews. The Square is transformed into a magical place with caro
 ls, dancing snowflakes, holiday music playing on the Parx Liberty Caro
 usel, warming stations in the Philly Mini Golf and a host of new addit
 ions for 2014 culminating in the traditional family-friendly New Yearâ
 €™s Eve celebration. New and expanded entertainment includes Food Truc
 k Fridays, Santa Saturdays, Seasonal Sounds on Sundays, Kids’ Crafti
 vity Hours, Lightning Bolt Holiday Express train rides around the Squa
 re, a winter beer garden, all in addition to the spectacular Electric
 al Spectacle nighttime light show synchronized to music with the new 
 addition of songs from The Nutcracker this year. Electrical Spectacl
 e is a free light show that illuminates the Square nightly with more
  than 50,000 lights as they shimmer, dance, and illuminate the Square 
 to a soundtrack of holiday classics performed by The Philly POPSTM(inc
 luding arrangements by Peter Nero, Music Director Emeritus) in two alt
