 ssion-performance by theater artist Annie Dorsen. Is artificial inte
 lligence a “gift from the gods” to advance human civilization — 
 or a fraught technology with as-yet unknown implications? In her lates
 t work, Dorsen examines the newly emerging tools of “generative arti
 ficial intelligence” through the lens of ancient mythology. \n \nU
 sing artificial intelligence, Dorsen recreates the lost third play of 
 the Prometheus trilogy, using the remaining texts as source material f
 or dialogues and songs created in real time through algorithmic prompt
 s. On stage, a chorus of AI-generated Greek masks “performs” while
  Dorsen engages the audience in storytelling and reflections on mythol
 ogy and technology. We’re asked to consider: What does it mean for
