 ds that remain make the poem.\nWriter and artist Erin Dorney will gi
 ve pointers and share more about her experience creating and showcasin
 g blackout poetry (also known as erasure poetry or redaction). No writ
 ing experience required!\n\nMATERIALS NEEDED:\n(If you can't find ever
 y single supply or source text, that's okay. Just gather up anything y
 ou have access to.)\n\nBlack Sharpie or other black marker with good c
 overage\nPencil, eraser, and sharpener\nBottle of white-out or correct
 ion tape pen\nRoll of washi tape or colored tape\nColored pencils, cra
 yons, markers\nA page of a newspaper, junk mail, receipts, a brochure,
  an official form or document (that can be transformed - nothing irrep
 laceable)\nAn old book and/or magazine you're willing to destroy\nCard
 board boxes from food items, cut to flatten (cereal box, mac & cheese 
 box, toothpaste box, etc)\n\n\nABOUT THE HOST: Erin Dorney\nErin Dorn
 ey is the author of I Am Not Famous Anymore: Poems After Shia LaBeouf 
 (Mason Jar Press). Her work has appeared in various publications, incl
 uding Passages North, Paper Darts, and Juked. She is a 2020 Anne LaBas
 tille Memorial Writer in Residence (NY), was awarded an Emerging Artis
 t Residency at Tofte Lake Center (MN), and was a 2019 Artist in Reside
 nce at Hewnoaks (ME).\nDorney’s collection of time-lapse video erasu
 re poems, QUESTION THE BODY, is currently on display at the Center for
  Maine Contemporary Art. Her literary artwork and installations have b
 een exhibited at Hennepin Theatre Trust; the Minnesota Center for Book
  Arts; and Susquehanna Art Museum.\nShe is a co-founder of Fear No Lit
