DESCRIPTION:Learn and experience modern dance technique in a weekly Tu
 esday night class  designed specifically for beginner students. Anat
 omically focused warm up leads into dynamic across the floor movement 
 featuring phrase work, turns and jumps! Choreographer, Alie Vidich, wi
 ll lead you through an exploration of dance that engages your mind and
  body on a weekly basis! Movement style is modern dance based inspired
  by Limon technique, release technique and Alie’s background as a si
 te- specific choreographer.Alie Vidich, is the Artistic & Executive Di
 rector of INVISIBLE RIVER, a non-profit organization that creates and 
 leads live events on the Schuylkill River in Fairmount Park, using art
  and dynamic programming to build stewardship for the river and the pa
 rk.  She has been producing live performance since 2005 and on Philad
 elphia’s Schuylkill River since 2010. She is known for creating arti
 stically daring work and the William Penn Foundation, The Leeway Found
 ation, the Puffin Foundation and Stary Browar Nowy Taniec’s Philadel
 phia/Poland Dance Exchange program have recognized Alie’s work with 
 INVISIBLE RIVER. She received a Dance USA Philadelphia Rocky Award fro
 m Leah Stein of Leah Stein Dance Company in 2012 for her contributions
  to the Philadelphia dance community. Alie has taught dance to childre
 n, teens and adults and continues to share dance as an art form throug
 h an active teaching practice. She received a BFA in Dance from Rutger
 s University.No previous dance experience is necessary – class is fo
